Since its inception in 1982, Helm has supported over 10,000 disadvantaged young people in Dundee. Our vision is a world where all young people dare to dream about their futures.

This year, we are calling on companies across Tayside and beyond to select us as your Charity Partner to enable us to make lasting and significant change to the lives of disadvantaged young people.

Helm has many projects that we’re currently seeking commercial sponsorship for. These range from sponsoring housing for care experienced young people, through to sponsoring our breakfast club, ensuring young people get a good breakfast every morning which is especially important during these difficult times. We have projects to match all levels of budget and our Fundraising Team would work with you to design a bespoke partnership, ensuring you’re achieving the CSR, marketing and engagement benefits you would like to receive from your relationship with Helm.

Helm has been reliant on Government funding for many years however unfortunately this has now changed, and our core funding has reduced. This means that every penny donated to Helm, really does make a difference. Donations will be channelled into our vital services including community outreach work, providing young people with housing and regular meals as well as directed to our employability services enabling young people to secure a job after their time at Helm.

At Helm, we know that a great Charity of the Year scheme is more than about the money you can raise – it’s also about great staff engagement and about seeing how your support makes a difference to the charity. As a local charity, all support does make a difference to the community you work in. We support approximately 200 young people a year and by helping change their lives, you’re helping to change Dundee and surrounding areas for the better.
